Jen - It was our first trip to Brooks' but definitely won't be the last. :) I'm still thinking about that chicken. It was fun to walk out back later and see their BBQ set-up. Impressive!

I was going to ask if it was your first trip to Brooks', it sounds like it was...and yes, I agree with your response to Shannon, it IS totally worth the trip! It's a family favorite for us, and we will have at least one big get together there a year with old family friends on the in-law side. Always a wonderful meal.

Hi, Shannon -- I/we have been wanting to visit Brooks' for years. The chicken was worth the trip. Now, we need to go to Binghamton and hit the best place for Spiedies. Any suggestions? Thanks for visiting and cheers.

Great post and a wonderful description of Brooks- thanks also for the info about Cornell Chicken! I had never heard of that until I read about it in another post of yours-
