I'm Margaret McCormick and I'm a journalist in career transition -- a freelance writer and editor in search of a wonderful, new, full-time opportunity. Until last year I was a writer, copy editor and section editor for The Post-Standard in Syracuse, NY. I wrote for and edited the newspaper's Food section for six years and continue to write "Gourmet Chef" profiles for The Good Life Central New York magazine, a bi-monthly publication of The Post-Standard, on a freelance basis.
